FEATURE

Immerse yourself in Takamatsu’s aesthetic heritage and the rhythms of Japanese living—in a thoughtfully restored former private residence.

GARDEN

A living artwork, entirely private.

Beyond the gate, the Japanese garden is the first to greet you. Centered on the Japanese black pine, the scenery shifts with the seasons. The 100-year-old pine was shaped by a master gardener associated with Ritsurin Garden, a nationally designated Special Place of Scenic Beauty. Its dignified presence and vitality make it a living work of art. In complete privacy, linger over meals and conversation. After dusk, subtle lighting reveals a different character.

CRAFTS

Takamatsu’s art-city sensibility, curated throughout the residence.

We showcase crafts unique to Takamatsu and pieces connected to its artists. Kagawa lacquerware accompanies dining; Isamu Noguchi’s Akari illuminates the rooms; and one-of-a-kind furnishings—including a traditional irori hearth—add warmth. Marugame hand fans and ceramics are displayed, while interiors feature the world-renowned Aji stone. Experience Takamatsu’s cultural heritage and enduring sense of beauty throughout the residence.

SPA & SAUNA

A private spa for deep relaxation.

Your exclusive spa—featuring an open-air bath and a Finnish sauna—is available 24 hours a day. After island-hopping or at the end of a long journey, unwind at your own pace. With advance notice, your host will prepare the bath and sauna to your preferred time and temperature. Emerge refreshed, and let dinner become an especially memorable part of your stay.
